August Member of the Month

Fusion X-Cel would like to congratulate Donna on being the August member of the month! Donna started coming to Fusion X-Cel in May 2017. She didn’t participate in sports growing up but tried to stay active as an adult by taking the stairs or daily walks. This just wasn’t enough to keep her metabolism going. She has been paying for a Planet Fitness membership for years but hasn’t been to the gym. With the encouragement of her daughters who are members of Fusion X-Cel, she decided to give bootcamp style classes a try. At the age of 63 she came to the gym on her own to meet with Edwin and begin her weight loss and fitness journey. Two months later and she is down fifteen pounds and one clothing size! She loves coming to the group fitness classes because she doesn’t have to think about what to do next. She listens to the guidance of trainer Edwin and is seeing results. Donna is a true testament that age is just a number. Her main focus is becoming stronger with weight loss as an added bonus. We can’t wait to see her results month after month!

July members of the month

Fusion X-Cel would like to recognize Woody & Beth Whitcomb as the July members of the month! Woody, age 60 and Beth, age 58 have been working out at Fusion X-Cel since its beginning. Fitness is a priority for these two as they have a history of staying active with competitive dog training and competing in marathons. They have persevered through several knee and back injuries. Beth and Woody show that through an active lifestyle and healthy eating habits, new levels of fitness can constantly be reached. Woody, who does not eat meat, is a source of inspiration to those who follow a similar diet. Maintaining consistency and training together, this duo motivates us daily.
